We offer a full range of classes to meet you where you are in your photographic journey. Whether you want a group or private class, developing, printing, alternative processes. We've got it and we'll be adding more classes regularly so check back often!
There’s a perfect film camera for every photographer, but figuring out which one that is can take years of experience. Take this online class to discuss your style and what you’re looking for in a camera with an experienced BCD member.
GROUP CLASSES
INTRO TO CAMERA
Sundays 4-7pm

A 3 hour class designed to familiarize students with their individual cameras as well as give an introduction to basic photography terms, tools & history.
INTRO TO B&W FILM DEVELOPING
In this class students will learn to turn their exposed film into negatives that can be used later to make prints in the darkroom. The first and arguably most vital step in the analog process is way easier than you may think.
INTRO TO B&W PRINTING
In this class students are introduced to the art of B&W printing. Basic techniques and terms are introduced. Students can expect to leave class with at least 1 "finished" print. Students should come prepared with at least 1 roll of developed negatives 35mm or medium format.

INTRO TO COLOR PRINTING - PRIVATE CLASS (W OPTION TO BRING A FRIEND FOR +$100)

A two hour class designed for those that have experience printing in the B&W darkroom. This class covers the basics of producing color balanced prints using CRC’s 60" Kreonite color print processor.
INTRO TO B&W DARKROOM - PRIVATE CLASS (OPTION TO BRING A FRIEND FOR +$100)
Students select whether they would like to learn to develop their b&w film by hand or learn to make prints from already developed negatives in this session. Each session only covers one process.
ADVANCED B&W DARKROOM - PRIVATE CLASS (OPTION TO BRING A FRIEND FOR +$100)
Students select whether they would like to explore fiber paper and more advanced b&w printing techniques, dive into the world of bleaching and toning or experiment with alternative processes
Private classes allow us to customize each session to your interests.

Classes are non-refundable. You can reschedule at no charge up to 24 hours before the class. With less than 24 hours notice (or for no-shows) there is a $50 fee to reschedule.
