In my still life photography series, I combine found plants from my Brooklyn neighborhood with discarded objects to explore themes of resilience and neglect. The plants, often invasive species, thrive in the city, much like artists navigating a challenging world. By pairing these plants with forgotten items, I encourage viewers to reflect on what we often overlook in our busy lives. Each plant carries its own healing properties, reminding us that there’s beauty and value in both nature and the objects we dismiss.
